If you haven’t heard of 50 Shades of Grey by now, well done. It’s obvious you don’t use public transport or watch The One Show. I envy you.
It’s the Twilight fan fiction turned paperback that’s taken the womenfolk by storm. It’s now the fastest selling paperback in the history of paper. And everyone wants a piece.
Publishers are rushing out republished versions of their wares to look more like the 50 Shades covers, which I’ve helpfully included below:

Seems all you need to do is put an inanimate object on a dark background, find a faux typewriter font, and job’s a good’un. And now that publishers are promising to go back to classic works and add sex scenes, I thought I’d help them get on the bandwagon. These can be printed off and stuck on existing paperbacks.
That’s right. The sexiest existential pondering and old lady killing this side of Midsomer. Some like it hot, Dostoevsky liked it scorching. Especially when he was in Siberia.
